This was spotted by Evan Blass, who shared all the marketing materials for both the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. There was one huge, scrolling screenshot for each phone, shared by Evan Blass. We’ve cut them down into several images for each device, and included them in the galleries below.
Major Pixel 6 & 6 Pro leak reveals marketing materials with tons of information
That being said, these images do share a lot of information. They show both devices in renders, both their front and back sides, while sharing quite a few of their features and other details. The Google Tensor chip is mentioned for both phones. The materials said that the chip will bring the performance “to a whole new level”, while it also hypes up the Pixel camera. The Titan M2 security chip is also teased here. Up to 80-percent faster performance for the Google Tensor is teased, compared to the Pixel 5. That’s not exactly the best comparison, though, as the Pixel 5 comes with the mid-range Snapdragon 765G. Still, we’ve seen some leaked benchmarks for the Tensor chip, and it’s more than powerful enough. The main appeal of that chip won’t be raw power either. The Google Tensor will help Google’s photo and video processing, language translation, and much more than that, as these materials highlight. Better battery life is also mentioned, and so on.
Camera sensors are mentioned for both devices, as is “Magic Eraser” feature
You’ll also notice that there’s some camera info included here. These materials reveal that the Pixel 6 will include a 50-megapixel wide lens, and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens. The Pixel 6 Pro will have those two cameras, plus a 48-megapixel telephoto one. It is also mentioned that the 50-megapixel main camera, on both phones, will “help capture more color, more detail, and 150-percent more light than Pixel 5”. The Pixel 5 has a rather old main camera sensor, but it’s still able to produce excellent images in low light. So, this sounds promising. 4x optical zoom is also confirmed for the Pixel 6 Pro, as is a 94-degree FoV for the front-facing camera. These materials also confirm the “Magic Eraser” feature, which will allow you to delete unwanted objects in images.
These images confirm 30W charging
Faster charging is also tipped here, 30W charging, to be exact. You’ll be able to charge up the Pixel 6 Pro up to 50-percent in just 30 minutes, the marketing materials say. The Pixel 6 will include a 6.4-inch display, while the ‘Pro’ model will come with a 6.7-inch panel. The Gorilla Glass Victus will protect both panels, while a 120Hz LTPO display is mentioned for the ‘Pro’ model. Both phones will offer IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. Several other details are mentioned in these promo materials, while you can also get a glimpse of Material You running on the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro.
