Launched back in March 2016, Good Lock has existed for more than six years now. But all this while, it was only available in a handful of markets. The app debuted in Samsung’s homeland South Korea and expanded to only 14 other countries as of April last year, including Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the UAE, the UK, and the US. That’s a way too limited release considering Samsung’s presence around the world....

This doesn’t come as a surprise either. Samsung went this route last year itself, shipping the Galaxy S21 series with Google Messages as the default SMS app. However, that was limited to international markets including Europe. The company is now bringing the US to the fold as well. According to internal documents revealed by TMO.Report, T-Mobile will launch a new support policy that will require users to pay a unified “Device Connection Charge”. It will be a one-time $35 (plus applicable taxes) charge, which users would have to pay when activating a new device with T-Mobile or adding an existing device to the network. T-Mobile subsequently confirmed the reports saying the charge would apply to all new mobile broadband devices....

TCL’s new TV lineup for 2022 includes 4K LED televisions plus Mini LED models, which carry a higher price tag. At least a few of these TVs could appear in the U.S., though they’re limited to Europe.
