Well, thicker than the rest of them. Its power/lock and volume rocker buttons sit on the right-hand side. Two cameras are included on the back of this phone, and are vertically aligned. An LED flash sits right next to those cameras, while Samsung’s logo is also included on the back....

The December security patch for the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is currently rolling out in Europe. More precisely, Samsung has begun the rollout in France. Users are getting the update with firmware version N770FXXS8HVL1. The Korean behemoth should expand the rollout to other global markets in the coming weeks. Note that the phone wasn’t officially launched in the US. This update doesn’t bring any new features or user-facing changes to the Galaxy Note 10 Lite....

The Galaxy S21 FE launch date has seemingly been revealed, it’s January 11 Both Jon Prosser and Max Weinbach said that Samsung will announce its new flagship killer on January 11. Jon Prosser shared that launch date via Twitter, while Max Weinbach responded to the tweet, saying he can confirm the information. That’s not all, though. Prior to that, Ross Young, a well-known display analyst, said that he believes the device is coming in January....

SamMobile notes that the Galaxy S21 Ultra has been out of stock on a handful of Samsung websites around the world. The device has also disappeared from the Samsung U.S. website. And by the looks of it, it isn’t coming back. It’s worth mentioning that the Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy S21+ still appear to be in stock. But getting these devices (without a massive discount) doesn’t make sense given that the new and improved models are only weeks away....

The Galaxy S23 series will not have many upgrades The most notable change or upgrade will be the processor. The Galaxy S23 series will feature Qualcomm’s next-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. While rumors suggest the same silicon may power the upcoming Samsung flagships globally next year, the company doesn’t seem to have ruled out the use of its in-house Exynos processors. It is undecided on the matter. But we hope it goes all-in with the Snapdragon solution, at least for a year....

Durability has always been one of the biggest questions about foldable smartphones. The folding nature of these phones, which require movable parts and some open spaces within, makes them vulnerable to dust and water damage. The plastic-made flexible screen is also more prone to scratches than a glass screen used on conventional smartphones. First reported by 9to5Google, Gboard beta version 12.3 for Android introduces a new layout for the keyboard app on tablets. The keyboard is now taller and no longer looks like a stretched-out phone keyboard. In portrait mode, the keys get vertical rectangular boxes rather than squares. This makes the touch targets slightly smaller but it’s tablets we are talking about. So that shouldn’t be a problem. Google is making the keys narrower because it has added an extra key to the left of the first two rows: Tab and Caps Lock....

This news is not exactly surprising, as Apple is rumored to be launching a couple of different AR headsets this year. It is not releasing all the details on the new Pixel 6 yet, that will happen this fall. But the big news here is the Tensor SoC. Which is leaving us with more questions than answers. But the name comes from the “Tensor” chips that it uses in its data centers. Tensor will use at least a mobile TPU for AI operations and a new Titan M2 security chip. Google recently shared a preview of the upcoming Maps widget. It’s a rounded square that shows a map of your nearby location. Your current location is marked by a blue dot at the center. The widget notes the traffic state on all major routes with green, orange, and red lines, similar to the full app. At the bottom-left corner of this widget is the Google branding while there’s a FAB (floating action button) on the other corner....
